Hey GM... congrats.. I've got some catching up to do since i'm only 18 and am only a 2nd year college student. Anyway, i dont know about the heater valve, but the clutch question is easy... after a while the pin that goes through the clutch pedal opens the hole more and this creates play in the pedal and what it's pushing against. I just replaceded this last week on my 86 SPG. I actually just took the good pedal out of my 900T parts car, but there is another way and i read it on either Dave N's page or Jeff and Royce's page. It was suggested by Tom Townsend to drill out the hole to a bigger size and get a new pin that will fit through the new hole.... someone else could probably give you the exact sizes of the hole and pin.. although i'm sure you could do it however you want... But of course, i just realized that it's not even your car so you dont really have to worry about it i guess! Later!
