When you installed the A.I.D., remember the little piece inside the distributor, called the "reluctor" in the SPG9 instructions? ("You can keep the pin steady by putting a finger on the reluctor pickup, visible where the distributor cap would be.") You should be able to check the AID installation easily enough: remove the distributor cap, place your finger on the reluctor, and try to move it. Their website instructions suggests: "As a final check to make sure you have the arm on the pin, try to move the reluctor pickup through its normal travel. If it still moves freely it’s not connected."
Beyond that limited suggestion, I defer to the more knowledgable folks on the site. Please post your results as you work through this. And, if you can get her on a dyno after she's running well, we'd love to know what kind of machine you've created.
Good luck.
