I have had that problem on other cars before.. umm first i would check the wiring going to the main controler.. it should be ( if i remember correctly ) yellow and purple wire on the very bottom. and and other purple goes just one above it.. the third male end stays empty.. then at the upper section of wiring.. it should be a gray wire, then purple ( dual wire ) then single gray again. also check to see that the rubber vaccum boot is correctly mounted on .. that the bottom or top didn't come unclipped.. also check at your vaccum canister under the hood ( passenger side fender well.. white plastic tank )make sure the vaccum lines are plugged in, and they haven't split.. also check that the vaccum line from the intake manifold is mounted to the engine provide vaccum to it.. i would be it was the electrical connections on the back.. if you have ever taken it out, or maybe had a different stereo installed, something on the back of the controller could have been unplugged or vaccum line unhooked .. so i would sniff around behind the dash.. but under the hood is the first thing to chekc, cause no work is involved to check that.. i wish you luck.. have fun =)
