THE TEMP SENDER UNIT ON MY 84 900T IS LOCATED UNDER THE THERMOSTAT. IT HAS A WIRE ATTACHED TO THE FRONT OF IT. I BOUGHT ONE RECENTLY FOR AROUND 18.00.
VERY EASY TO REPLACE.
