Hi Chris,
Well here is my update. The stock head gasket is back in for now. I'll start looking for the O-ring guys when this one craps out. I forgot about the more air, cooler idea. Plus when I take the saab to Breck or Vail its usually pretty dang cold up there to I'm already getting some cool air. So it sounds like the Garrett is the best way to go? I'm also assuming that it would be a hybrid Garrett? I'm not really worried about off the line stuff, thats what the Mustang is for. But for those climbs out west is where I'm really looking to make it fly.
With your idea of the throttle body, isn't it cheaper just to get a larger one from the tuning folks? And why the 84 model from a 900,S,Turbo? But if it works than hey I just love projects.
The end result that I'd love to have is the ability to rip up I-70 at about 10-13 lbs of boost and not running my current 18-20 lbs. I'll look up that place in golden, since it also sounds like they do good work. Heck plus its close.
Thanks Chris,
Bill in Denver
