CFM specs for OEM cat on 900 T? Other exhaust Qs, too.

Does anyone know the CFM specs on the 900 turbo's OEM cat? Before I shell out for a "performance" cat upgrade, I'd like to know whether the CFM specs are any better than the OEM.
Second question: what are advantages/disadvantages to heat-shield tape wraps around exhaust system? Would wrapping the pipe from turbo bracket to cat benefit overall performance? Is there a down side? Is it just more snake oil?
Thanks in advance.
