Hi,
Alright here is the deal:
1986 900t Black..imported from Germany, 2dr hatch with SPG ground effects, lowering springs, manuall, Blaupunkt stereo, headlight wipers..blah blah blah...200k, paint looks great in the pictures, but has been sitting two years, owner moved, its on ex's property doesn't know why it won't run...something to do with engine-blown head, or cracked block(?)- apparently there was something about putting water in instead of antifreeze and then it froze...he tried pulling it up on to a trailer but it kept stalling on him with a lot of smoke...what could this be? Can prolly get it for 500-300 bucks. Problem, have to tow it home which is 607 miles away. Is the car worth the effort, it is quite the tow, I will be using a friend's truck that is more than capable it is just a matter of getting the dolly and what precautions I need to take with such a long distance towing? I have a 85 900t and could use the tranny and all sorts of stuff from it eventually. Plus from the pics it looks REALLY nice. My dilema is the towing and what not..anyone have a similar experience?
Thanks,
-Kurt
