SPGeorge,
When I started shopping around for someone to do the top for me, I was not convinced that they would do as good of a job as I would, even thou I had never done one.
I purchased the top, headliner and glass back window assembly from Hydro-E-Lectric, under $700.00 delivered to the door. I removed the top on a Saturday, cleaned everything up, and re-installed on Sunday with my brother's help. Total time was about 20 hours. I am very satisfied with the results. I recommend that you replace the headliner and back window assembly when you do the top.
I plan to do my other convertible within the next year.
P.S. You won't be able to get the car back from your wife!
Jon
