Opinions on the following AIC modification/help stop idle problem

I think I have narrowed down my idle problem to the fact that the AIC is simply getting contaminated from PCV blowby and maybe a little oil blowby from the turbo. I have made an art out of finding vacuum leaks, so I think I have pretty much elliminated all of them. Anyway, when I clean my AIC, my car idles great, right around 800-900, so I think the problem has to lie with the AIC getting dirty. My idea is this:
Take one of those little HKS pcv air filters you see in the rice-burner magazines and attach it to the AIC valve! It sounds like such a simple idea I don't know why no one else has tried it before. This way, your AIC cleaning days would be over, it would constantly be drawing in clean, filtered air through its own little air filter! Just disconnect/plug off the hose leading to the AIC from before the throttle plate, and leave the hose on that runs from the AIC to the manifold after the throttle plate. I can't think of any reason why this would affect the air sensor.
My other thought was to put one of these little filters on the pcv hose itself, such that no more pcv gases would be running into the intake crudding up everything. But 1) this might create a problem when someone looks at the car for a state inspection, and 2) you would still have turbo blow-by oil crudding up the AIC. I think this might work! I'm gonna try it, can't stand this idle that keeps creeping up on me.
