Yours are apparently the newer configuration that uses the rheostat in the dash. You can retrofit to the automatic thermistor in the seat (about $20 for the part, dealer item) and simply rewire the seat or use the blank spot on the dash and retrofit the rheostat, but then you have to run several wires from the seat to the rheostat.
Alternatively, just hotwire the seat to a toggle switch and don't forget to turn it off (well, frankly, if you wire the switch to a circuit that's hot with the ignition on...try the lighter circuit...you won't forget to turn it off...it will get hot enough to remind you!).
