Can anyone at all help me with this problem PLEASE???]
1980 900 t I love the car but it has the problem of cutting out around corners when only a quater tank of fuel is left. I have been told 1. that it cant be fixed. 2. that a 84-88 fuel pump will cure the problem due the the primary pump, resevoir. 3.that a later model fuel tank wont fit in due the the boot floor being a different shape.
I cant believe that there isnt a way to fix this problem. I also have read that these saabs and the model before were rallied quite a bit and cant believe that the rally drivers put up with problem. How could they when sending it around corners on mountian tracks etc. Surely saab came up with an answer when they realised their `little` mistake. I dont want to get rid of the car as its a classic and I am fully in love with it but am also tearing my hair out and dont want to have to put fuel in it what seems like every other day.
any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Ade
