I am travelling about 600 miles at the weekend and would like to check the carburation before I go with a view to the fuel economy, which I think is rather high at present. I don’t have the time to get it looked at by a garage prior to going.
My car is a 1988 single carburettor model and I would like to know how to give her a quick check and adjust the idle speed etc.
Is there an article on the web covering this or can someone give me some advice?
