SAAB did "glue" the rotors on. They used Loc-Tite. Supposedly there was a problem with rotors flying off of thier shafts on 85 16 valve engines. 85 engines have a smaller diameter distributor shaft then 86 and later engines. To remove the rotor grip it with a set of pliers. Use a hammer and tap on the pliers to drive the rotor off of the distributor shaft. I never apply any "glue" when I replace rotors and have yet to have a problem. If you feel more comfortable apply a small amount of Blue Loc-Tite to the distributor shaft and then press the rotor on.
