Which is good and bad.
The fan is a bugger to fix, but lots cheaper than a new A/C compressor. If you drive highway, turn on A/C, open sunroof or back window a little and put the ACC on LO. If you feel cool air being forced through the vent, your A/C is OK.
If the fan is not running the fan motor is most likely dead. This is quite common in 9000s. If you take it to a shop, ask for two estimates: 1 - to replace the whole fan housing, 2 - to replace just the motor. Doing just the motor is cheaper parts, more labor.
If you are going to DIY, check out Quasimotors' site for an excellant write-up on the procedure. Set aside an entire day and take your patience medication. You'll need it.
Do a search on 'fan' or 'cabin fan' on this BB for lots of diagnostic info.
Good Luck
