What he said... there were a couple subtle changes to the c900 tranny, but by and large you could probably rebuild any c900 tranny with any c900 manual. I don't know that I would try it, personally, as the "right manual" is $20 or so from the dealer, and well worth having.
If there is a section in that book on Sonett (95/96) manual transmissions, I'd love to have a looksee, as my Sonett is facing a tranny rebuild in the near future....
