Remove the torx screws holding the speaker covers into the dash
Remove the speaker covers
Remove the screws holding the dash on
Lift up the dash, disconnecting the safety cable that is clipped into the underside of the dash at serveral points
There is an actual hose leading from the t-junction on the driver's (USA)side of the engine that feeds off of the throttle body, passing through the firewall and into the back of the instrument cluster. If that hose disconnects or gets a hole in it it can make a whistling noise, note that it will change pitch with the boost, so you'll get an "auditory boost meeter".
