Does seem like a lot of miles, but with a 100 mile daily commute, and traveling to hockey rinks far and wide each winter, the miles roll up pretty fast. Bought the car new in March of '95. The thing spits off tires every 75-80 k (Pilot Sports ) , brakes every 125k, got 207k out of the clutch. I replace plugs and air every 30k. Other than a failed fuel pump at 175k, some TCS issues at 200k (replaced safety +check valve) have enjoyed years of driving it. I use Mobil 1 5w30 (summer), and 10w30(winter) with WIX filter. Change every 5 k. I want to break the 500k mark. Though I will need to get refresh on hood paint, and new headlights. High speed highway miles in New England wreak havoc on paint and glass. Ironically, we have just retired my son's 1986 turbo after it used up it's 2nd auto tranny. Being put out to pasture with 340k miles and a bit of rust on panels. It is a shame , engine still runs sound. Dang autos!!!
