Any wheel from any 9000 will fit your car, including the Aeros. Any 900 from '88-93 will also fit your car, inlcluding SPG wheels from those years. However, as you point out, they are only 5.5" wide.

I suspect that the aftermarket wheels you mention would fit, but it is always tough to say. I have 15x7" rims on my car, and I will try to meaure the offset for you the next time I have one off. My 225/50 tires do protrude from the fender wels slightly and I know in the UK they check for this on their MOT. 205/55 tires probably wouldn't

You may want to re-ask your question on the peformance board, as more people have tinkered with wheels there. Also, do you have any pictures of your car online? It sounds like an interesting body package.
