Cracked Dash

I have a 93 9000 CS Turbo, tan interior with a cracked top dash. It has cracked from front to back at the temp/sun sensor. I know I'm not the only one with this problem. How have you guys addressed this problem, short of buying a new one from the dealer ($US700 List)?
