It could be the amplifier inside the radio. That might have short circuited. Are the entire speaker’s factory? Have they been upgraded? If the speaker wiring have their + & - put the wrong way round that would kill the speakers or the amplifier.
Is it possible to disconnect the equalizer and run the speakers off the head unit? That would eliminate any problems with the head unit.
Also, speaker wiring (+ & -) touching each other without insulation would kill amplifiers.
