1. Bad Automatic Transmission
Roughly $2000 for a rebuild, if you do the heavy lifting yourself. My 96 CS lost 2 in the first 50,000 miles. Others on TSN go 250,000 with no problems.
2. Serpentine Belt Tensioner
An expensive problem by itself, compounded by continuing to drive the car until it over heats. Blown head gasket, warped heads, failed balance shaft assemblies, failed cam chains, can easily run $2000 in repairs as well.
The rest, heater blowers, DCI and such are pocket change by comparision.
