I did this on my car, but mine being an '87, as is Lu describes and not like your car. The modification is the same, but the location of the relay and wires is different. :) You just have to ground the fog light relay to an actual ground instead of through the high beam filament.
Incidentally, I picked up a giant rock in my fog lights last week, and totally shattered the lens. I didn't have a replacement fog light reflector/lens, but did have a driving light that fit the same housing. So now I have a driving light on the left and a fog light on the right. The resulting pattern is interesting, to say the least. :) I haven't decided which way to go yet. We got fog so infrequently that I am considering going back to driving lights, although I don't have much use for them either, what with my 100w E-code headlights.
Happy Lighting!
