I m just done putting a new timing chain, new head, head gasket(chain broke). To set the timing I know that the fly wheel has to be at #0,but what about the camshafts.I now have the camshaft timed using the sprokets marks but its running rough(out of timing). The camshafts also have marks on them but they dont point correctly to the first shaft holder cap.I think what I need to do is go by the camshaft mark and not the sprokets.Meaning
set the camshafts marks with the first cap holder mark and then just put the sprokets on the shaft as long as they fit properly into the shaft gear. Thanks
