The price is certainly nice, and hopefully the car is as immaculate as you say. Check the car thoroughly and if it's good, go for it. Just know what you can be getting into for maintenance. Go to Quasi's site (http://www.quasimotors.com) for details on everything related to 9000s. Be aware Quasi is anti-automatic trans.
That's what I did and I did a lot of research on 9Ks. It can take a while to find a really clean one, but IMHO it's important to get the best one you can find to start with.
I just last week bought a '96 CSE 5-spd with 91K on it, also in immaculate condition. It does needs a couple of minor non-critcal things, but no biggie, it's is a used car. I checked to make sure all the usual weak spots (heater core/blower, motor mounts, DI, serp belt, etc) had been dealt with. I know I'll have to put more money into it over time, but for my needs, it is a lot less expensive than buying new or even an equivalent off-lease car. Plus it came with new tires, reconditioned wheels and looks and drives fabulous.
Mine came from a indy shop/dealer that has maintained the car for much of it's life, and I was able to connect with the PO, who is a long-time Saab guy who did meticulous maintenance. It came with a 2-yr warranty on all the major stuff and a lot of smaller things, so I'm pretty comfortable with not having to worry about anything for a while. I do a bunch of my own work, so I save there and pay a pro to do the stuff I can't/won't do. That makes owning a relatively expensive car pretty reasonable.
These are great cars that can last a long time and are a great value. But you have to be prepared to maintain them.
Good luck!
Noel
