"Hi !
There are sveral different adaptations functions in Trionic T5.
Just to mention the important ones....
* Boost adaptation
* Fuel adaptation
* Knock adaptation
Boost adaptation is simple, engine warmed up, then a few WOT run on a high gear, as high as possible.
I prefer to start the adaptation run at a low rpm, much lower then the adaptation area.
WOT at 1500 rpm.
Fuel adaptation takes time.
A lot of time, just drive.
FA does not run at WOT, it runs at lower loads.
Knock adaptation, a bit tricky.
Drive on the hiway steady load, approx 50-55 mph will do it, for about 10 minutes.
All the adaptations happens during normal use of the car.
But, can be "forced" by driving in a special way....."
It's been my experience that boost adaptation is best done on a long, up-hill stretch of highway, preferably in 5th gear - the tall final gearing extends the time interval for the boost and T5 to adapt.
