for me to figure it out? Thanks for that temp range. Seems reasonable that you want it soft enough to slide old out and new in. Guess the thing to do is keep feeling it until it seems ready to work.
The infared lamps I'm familiar with are pretty big and would likely soften the entire pump housing. Are there smaller IR lights that would be more focused on the hose/pump junction? Sounds like that may be worth figuring out.
