Yeah, and my problem would be on the OTHER end, OUTSIDE the perimeter of the block, so I'm hoping it would be less likely to leak.
But does anyone know whether there would be less pressure on the head gasket where it meets the top of the timing cover?
And if I had to do the head gasket later, would the procedure I described work okay?
Other opinions on whether to do head gasket now? I'm simply thinking it's easier to do it now, when I can easily remove the timing cover if I need to, or whatever else, since the parts are already pulled off...
