Hi folks, hope someone can help with our continual NJ emmissions failure issue. My 1989 9000 turbo automatic scored the following today...
NOx-3641 (1227 allowed)
HC-317 (162 allowed)
CO-.88 (.91 allowed)
The catalytic converter (aftermarket $300) is under 2 years old, the bosch O2 sensor currently reads a proper .5 volts (alternating nicely above and below .5v at idle). Plugs are fairly new BCP7es, recent Bougicords and Bosch cap/rotor. No vacuum leaks that I can detect by stethoscope or sprayable fuel methods. Timing is correct, dashpot works, no exhaust leaks, vac advance (retard?) on distributor does not leak. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...
