You need to swap some of the lightbulbs on the rear brake lights. Some of the fixtures in the back are made for two filaments, some are made for one. If you put a single filament bulb in a fixture meant for two it'll light up fine, but it will also turn the car on. Try this: start the car, put your foot on the brake, and turn the ignition off without taking your foot off of the brake, I bet the car will run until you take your foot off of the brake pedal. Check all bulbs and verify you have the correct ones in place.
