I would say it maybe is beyond repair. If you couldn't get it to thread out in the first place your goose was cooked there. Insert was spinning then most likely. Lucky for you a new radiator is reasonable. It is easy to swap out.
Did the neighborhood children learn any new words at this event?
Whadda think guys? Sounds like it was toast when it wouldn't thread out!
