impressive back pressure at the manifold end at those pressures, and subsequently high EGT, especially with a stock turbo. Far from 'flow' efficient. It is true Brad got 217whp out of a C900 with early 9KIC, but he has a more than impressive water injection setup. With a stock turbo absolutely 'good enough' at moderate boost, but Saab made an excellent intercooler for everyday driving (ie great cooling capacity) for 160-180 Hp for the early verion.
Marc FWIW the later 9KIC flow far better because of the direction of the inlet/outlet. closer to 200CFM Brad said (if I recall correctly).
Without know Marc's setup, pure specualtion on my part to assume that it isn't enough, but he asked so.... ;-)
As well, be careful of some of the 'crap' that comes up on ebay, and don't listen to the BS about core construction from the sellers. Read the info from Bell intercoolers and others on the 'realities' of cores, configuration, size, etc....
