If you don't get a sleev, then i'm not sure you can buy one anywhere that will work for your new decks. Most sleves are built SPECIFICALLY for the brand/model of deck.
The purpose of the sleeve is to keep people from being able to just pull the deck out of your dash in one easy swipe, with no tools.
Every sleeve i've ever seen interlocks with the sides of the deck itself, when it is pushed in fully within the dash. In order to "unlock" the sleeve from the deck, usually special tools are supplied with the new deck for easy removal... just like the stupid red U-BAR tool used to get the stock clarion units out.
the sleeves on newer decks have all of these metal tabs, that you bend out to grab the insides of the dash, this way, as you can see, when the deck locks with the sleeve, and the sleeve is "locked" indie the dash, no one can just pull it out and walk away with it.
I'm sure if you don't get a sleeve, you can find some other way to fasten the deck in there, but that's nothig I would want to personally do with a brand new stereo that i paid for...
by the way, i had a setup similar to the one you are going to do, check it out...
