As Andrew mentions, the tranny won't work. If you'll notice, the 900 tranny is in-line - it faces forward, and the axles come out the sides. The 9000 tranny is transverse - it faces sideways. The 900 tranny won't work because the axles point in the wrong direction. Also, the 900 tranny mounts under the engine - hence, the higher hoodline on a 900.In the 9000, the transmission comes off the back of the engine.
