deal check Posted by Nick [Email] (#227) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Nick) on Tue, 7 Sep 2004 21:13:26 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I found a 1993 9000 CDE turbo/AT for sale for $4500.
I'm wondering if it's a good deal.
It has 92k miles, good condition, some minor cosmetic problems.
Seller indicated it was fully serviced, with most of the documentation. Recently had head repaired.
Is this a good deal? I forgot to check, but I assume since it is a '93 turbo it has the dreaded TCS. Is TCS failure inevitable at high mileage? How about auto tranny failure? I hear both are difficult and expensive to fix.
Steering wasn't nearly as tight as a '95 900se I drove recently.
Are there any inexpensive ways to improve handling on this model?
Thanks!
