It's much easier if you just unbolt the two strut bolts. Also, for the snap ring if youre lucky it will be in place so you dont even have to take off the axle to access it. What works good to get them out are those little plier type things with the hooks on the end they are small and craftsman makes a set. I dont know what the technical name is for them. I'd look in the garage, but im 120 miles away getting my ass kicked at college so I cant.
