Mobil's HD Truck equivalent (to Mobil 1) (do a search for more info than you prolly wanna read... this product has proven popular with Saab performance oriented owners.. it's more than "fine', it's the right viscosity to adequately lube the valvetrain when the engine is up to temps. But you may or may not have starting probs in the depth of a Prarie winter..depends if you park overnight on a windswept lot or under cover.
The wear 'on startup' story is seriously exaggerated and taken almost entirely out of context..but it makes for a good story and good advert copy...it's the build up of acids that causes the bulk of wear not necessarily the oil not being 'there' on cold starts.. Lotsa dull reading available if this is even of remote interest.
