I find this statement incredible! I do believe you, but in no way can I envision my local SAAB dealership lending me a tool. When I needed a brake caliper bolt for my 91, they REFUSED to order it. It was only through a post on SAABNet that I was able to get one.

This is also the same dealer that told me I needed to replace my whole exhaust and heat shields when it was in for something relatively minor. I took it to my indy (now BACK from vacation), and we put it up on the lift, and he started laughing, then showed me why they were crazy.

Consider yourself fortunate to have such a relationship with your dealer.
