my experience: shifts are short and positive and buttery smooth, BUT
1) when first installed, 1-2 shift was not linear, 2nd hooked to the right;
my mechanic talked to John at Saabsavior (who was very friendly and
helpful)and made some adjustments; now 1-2 fine, 2-3 and 3-4 fine
BUT hooks to left 4-5; if I'm not careful, can catch 3 instead of 5
2) Getting reverse is little tricky; the lock-out feature is not positive as before and little difficult to engage (find) reverse; was disconcerting at first, though I've gotten used to it now; the problem is when others, i.e. car wash, tried to reverse, got stuck and banged away trying to engage; makes me nervous
3) We haven't totally given up, will try more adjustments
4) Even though I like the shifting, would not do again because the above difficulties detract from the car because I can't let anyone else get behind the wheel
