Thank God I am not the only one with a money pit!!! I have all my expenditures written down in my car, the money doesn't bother me but the time in the shop KILLS me. My 93 9KcseT has been in the shop and been towed more than the other
4 SAABs I have owned/own combined! Bought it a few years back with 116K on it and just turned 180K. (My first 3 SAABs had over 100K when I bought them)
So far: DI cartridge
Complete exhaust including cat (blocked from bad DCI)
Slave cylinder(tow)
Clutch(tow)
Crankshaft position sensor
TCS valve
TCS throttle body (used)
TCS throttle body (new)
TCS pedal position sensor
thermostat
Sunlight sensor for dash
Power steering pump failure (fell apart) (tow)
steering wheel relay for airbag
more exhaust parts
Air conditioner compressor (NEW)
Strap for gas tank
water pump
turbo (used)
Head gasket (tow)
Oh yeah, That rubber bushing so I could put it in first and second gear! (tow)
WHAT THE HELL ELSE CAN GO WRONG WITH THIS CAR THAT I LOVE TO DRIVE?
My next car? Another used SAAB!:)
