Have you changed the thermostat lately and used a non-saab or lower temp. model? These cars cut the hot water from heater radiator and direct all the coolant to the engine radiator for maximum engine cooling after the engine gets really hot. If you use a lower threshold thermostat this happens when the engine is very close to normal operating temperature, and the cabin heat goes away..
