If just dissconnecting to remove transmission, it is way better to remove tapered 8 mm pin only. Removing the cabin end larger bolt will lose your shift linkage alignment. Took me forever to get that tapered pin out...ended up using a vibratory pointy shaped tool with the compressor to finally push it out....I kept the broken pin as a trophy (it would be right up there with a lion head mounted on the wall - if I were a hunter :-)
