Almost ready, but some quick newbie questions Posted by mc [Email] (#1472) [Profile/Gallery] (more from mc) on Sun, 14 Aug 2005 00:29:04 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I saw a great condition 95 9000 CS that I absolutely love and want to buy it, but have some quick questions that I hpe the geniusses on this board can answer for me =)
Some quick notes; I also am looking at a 93 Aero with 30k more miles on it, about the same price as the 95 9000 cs, and the big selling point for the Aero for me surprisingly is the better interior options (built in cd player, wood trim, etc.)
My quetions are
1. ) I like the integration of the Casset deck & the CD deck in the Aero, unfortunately the 95 9000 cs does not come with the CD deck. I am thinking about purchasing a 93 9000 CSE to use as parts car, and that car has a CD deck, can I just grab that CD unit and install it onto the 95 9000 CS? How difficult of a installation?
2.) The parts car 93 9000 CSE also has automatic seats and possibly better condition seats, are the seats swappable from a 93 9000CSE to 95 9000 CS?
3. ) Many people on this board have talked about upgrading the Partial Turbo to Full Turbo, where are you guys getting the ECU? I found a few companies that sells them, but they are a kit that cost rougly $700, although a great upgrade, I'm not certain if it is that valuable at such a high price.
Sorry for the loaded questions, I'm having very hard time deciding because the Aero would come with all the options I like upgrade to. But it seems to me that the 95 9000 CS is better maintained and therefore longer lasting in my opnion.
Thanks in advance for the answers!
