The chemist at Auto-Rx has said that Group III "synthetic" oils provide the same post-A-Rx leak protection as standard dino oils. This is because they ARE dino oils, but they've just been thru more processing than standard dino oils. The Rotella Syn has the same dual rating (gas/diesel) that Saab recommends & has about the best protection of any Group III oil available. If I didn't want to use a true syn (like Mobil 1 or Amsoil), this would be my first choice in oil.
