Odd Idle behavior

We had a 30 degree F temp drop yesterday, and since then my 89 9000 is idling all over the place. Normal for the car is 800 - 900 rpm. Now it idles at 1000, sometimes as high as 1600 and engine revs do not drop off when decelerating. If I rev the engine it drops back to 1000, but rarely below that. If it had a carb I would say the choke or butterfly was sticking... that is what it fels like. Engine runs smooth, and starts right up, just idles rather high. Anyone have an idea?
