Ricardo,
You have what may be THE single most perfectly engineered car EVER
built on this planet, bar none - and if it doesn't have TCS it is
also a wonderful and rare gem.
Speaking as a man who had one as a 2nd owner, and lost it to 2
moose in the road one night, I would sacrifice a little used
part of my body to have another '94 Aero - so I consider your
query in a different light - the question is, IMO, what would
I do to keep it ?
If necessary, find a barn that rents space for storage and get
a nice Subaru Impreza wagon for a year or 2 - cover the Aero,
fill the gas tank to the brim, disconnect the battery and put
a cover on the car - then visit it now and again, sit in it,
feel those AMAZING seats, smell that wonderful leather smell
that ONLY an Aero has, and save up $$$ to make it perfect.
At the same time, arrange to have the relative drawn and
quartered ~unless~ they also pay for what they used up;
Then:
Repeat this mantra many times daily: 'I will NOT let any
other person EVER drive my Aero, ever again."
Until there is no question that you will remember and
follow this rule !!
So, to sum up - unless it is irreparable, my 2 cents -
KEEP IT and FIX IT !! (Or you will always miss it.)
Best Wishes,
mark
