Hi.
Sorry to interfere, but did this issue been resolved?
I have a SAAB 9000i 1988 with catalyst and LH-Jetronic ECU.
The problem I have is that cylinder #2 doesn't get any fuel from the injector. My conclusion for this is as follows:
1. Compression has tested out normally on #2.
2. Sparkplug & spark igniter works and deliver on #2.
3. Fuel rail & all four injectors have been pulled out, cleaned and tested to work outside (with supply from 9V battery, the injectors can be heard to open and close as well as deliver fuel through).
I have had the ECU taken apart, but found no visual problems (burned out components and/or bad lead-points.) Apart from problems with the ECU unit itself, where could the problem be? If someone has a schematic of the complete fuel injector system for this particular SAAB, I'd be very grateful. Or if someone can point to a likely malfunction (corroison on wire-connectors, broken transistor relays (if there are any outside the ECU)).
