Maybe I read it wrong, but it sounds like you used the floor jack (and a leaky one at that) to support your car while changing the oil. If so, that can be very dangerous. Much better to use jack stands to support the car while you're under it.
Or you could purchase a set of ramps for around $20.
There's far too few of us Saab owners as it is. We sure don't want to loose you.
