wheel wobble solved- cheap tires

My car has been vibrating since I bought it. When I rotated the rear tires to the front, the vibration moved to the front. I had the two front tires balanced, which did not solve the problem. I then decided the problem was either a bent rim, or something wrong with the tire. So I jacked up each front wheel and ran the engine w/ car in first gear. By watching the wheels spinning, it was very obvious that the tires were poorly manufactured. The tread on both front tires was not straight. What I mean is that when I watched the tread from above (while the tires were rotating), the tread zig-zaged left and right with every revolution. Moral of the story- don't buy cheap tires. These were the brand named "Warrior," the guy at NTB acknowledged they were a no name brand but he had pulled a few off cars before. I guess the previous owner who put these tires on was not bothered by the vibrations. I now have a set of Dunlops on them, smooth and quiet now.
