9000 is no exception.
As Nahum notes there are aftermarket armrests that some people really like, others do not. I wouldn't mind one in my '96 CSE, at least on long runs.
I'm 6'2" and the shifter is fine for me, but if you are used to a sports car it will be a bit of a reach maybe. I think it might be a couple inches too far forward, but it's one of the things you adapt to. I drive with the seat all the way back and my elbow is slightly bent when my arm is at the top of the wheel. Maybe you drive more reclined, in which case the shifter would be too far forward.
An Aero will get you a firmer suspension and more power, but good Aeros come at a premium and it can be hard to find one that hasn't been ridden hard and put away wet a few times too many. A CSE is great because they tend to have had a easier life and you can upgrade the power to more than an Aero has with a remapped ECU. And there are suspension options to aid the handling.
The 9-3 and NG 900s are nice, but I thought the 9000 was better all around when I bought mine 2.5 years ago. It is a better long road car, holds more and handles just as well. The 9K has a different feel, but it is still very good.
Good luck whatever you decide, and come back for input and help.
