It seems like Sachs doesn't make the original AERO strut anymore. When you do the research on the part numbers you'll find that the same strut is specified for both the AERO and CSE when they were different originally. The Saab dealer ask me what letter I had on the plate on the passenger side of the car and he said the AERO strut should have a brown stripe which I think I found on the label.
I called the eEuroparts people and asked why they don't offer the Sachs strut for the AERO and only the Bilstein HD and they told me the the valving in the Bilstein is similar to the original Sach Aero Strut.
Now the Koni Adjustable intrigues me but I am looking for Feedback from anybody that has installed them and the difficulty of the installation since the Koni is an insert not a full strut.
